“All About Arabian Travel Market 2023 (The 30th edition)”
Arabian Travel Market also known as ATM is a most significant International platform for the travel and tourism business. It happens every year with the aim to explore new growth opportunities, innovation and trends for all, including local and international participants around the globe.
The purpose of the event is to provide a vision; how the travel industry will look in coming years by creating major business opportunities and sharing new impactful ideas from the experts.
Sneak Peak from History
It was started in 1994 at “Dubai World Trade Centre” with 52 different nations,300 exhibitors and approximately 7000 trade visitors including 2500 consumers.
In year 1995, it was moved to “Bahrain International Exhibition Center”. It was the only time when market was showcased outside Dubai.
In 2002, ATM launched “The Meridian club” which is also known as ATM Buyer’s Club now.
In 2007, ATM featured a host of initiatives, including an expanded seminar programme, an advanced media centre and a new dedicated area for travel technology. The show engaged nearly 2,600 exhibitors.
In 2012, ATM and UNWTO industry forum took place and over 17,500 visitors attended the exhibition.
In 2013, Dubai ATM celebrated its 20th anniversary, which is also known as milestone year with 14% increased attendee’s ratio.
The year 2015 is marked as a most successful year till date with 15% increased attendees and 2.5b$ industry deal.
In 2018, Dubai ATM celebrated its successful 25 years.
In 2020, Dubai ATM was launched virtually by keeping in mind the health pandemic, which brutally affected the travel and tourism industry that specific year. However, this time the show attracted 12,000 attendees from 140 countries around the world with over 11,000 video meetings and more than 24,000 webinar views over the course of three days.
In 2021, ATM successfully launched a Hybrid show for the very first time.
In Year 2022, once again Hybrid show took place and virtual show was organized in the following week. The tourism industry from around the world again gathered in Dubai to showcase their brand at the show along with the largest names in accommodation and hospitality, renowned tourism destinations, innovative travel technology providers and airlines.
When & where it is taking place this time?
This time it is going to be held from May 1st –May 4th 2023
The trade show will span the halls of the Dubai World Trade Centre.
Opening hours will be as follows:
1 May from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm,
2 – 3 May from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm
4 May from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
The 30th edition of the trade show will feature over 3,000 products, tourism attractions, and exciting destination offered by the leaders in accommodation and hospitality in interactive pavilions throughout the venue.
What is it offering this year?
This year ATM Dubai 2023 will offer various special events, including live demonstrations, seminars and workshops.
From last Twenty-nine years, the Dubai ATM has connected the products and destination with traders and buyers. However, this year the main theme of the event will be
“Working Towards Net Zero”
Some of the noteworthy features of the show will include:
- The Buyers’ Club Lounge, exclusively for senior travel industry decision-makers with direct purchasing responsibility.
- The Responsible Tourism initiative dedicated to eco-friendly practices and solutions in the travel and tourism sector.

- Register online for free – avoid AED150 registration fee by registering in advance by 30th April 2023.
- Plan your visit – use the ATM website to plan which stands you want to visit and which seminars you want to attend so that you have your diary scheduled and ensure you don’t miss out on anything
